Missions and Chapel
In John’s gospel, Phillip and the disciples ask Jesus to show them the Father. They want to see Him. They want to know Him, but Jesus explains to them that they’ve already seen the Father: “He who has seen me has seen the Father.” Jesus used this opportunity to teach His disciples a radical truth, taking His message to a new level of understanding, an invitation to abide in Him just like He abides in the Father. Jesus invites them to an intimate and lasting friendship, a relationship built on trust and freedom. (You can read about this in John 14 and 15)
At Grace Prep, we’re learning to abide in the Vine. We cannot produce real and lasting fruit on our own, with our own strength and resources. It’s only when we are weak that we find strength. In all that we do, in missions, in Bible class, and in chapel, we want ministry to be a fruitful lifestyle, produced naturally and organically through the Vine.
We invite families, parents and students to join us on our journey. We encourage high school students and their parents to join us on missions, to see God in the faces of other people in other communities. We also encourage all Grace Prep families to join us for Chapel services every other Wednesday, from 8:00 – 8:45 a.m. It’s a time for families to fellowship and to worship together.
