Steps to Becoming a Grace Warrior

Exploration:

  • Look through website to research the school.
  • If interested, call the school (970-385-7544) to arrange a Warrior for a Day visit.  Interested students are paired up with a Grace student and shadow that student to classes and activities for the day.


Application:

  • Download and print the Application for Admission.
  • Complete and return the application for admission forms (860 Plymouth Drive, Durango, CO 81301)
    • Make sure you have included:
      • Signed application
      • Medical records- including immunizations records
      • Form allowing previous schools to release your child’s records to Grace
      • Transcripts from previous schools (9th-11th grade)
      • Report cards from previous schools (6th-8th grade)
      • Transfer credit forms for home school subjects (9th-11th grade)
      • Copy of any standardized or educational testing
      • Birth certificate
  • Call the office to schedule a family interview (970-385-7544)
  • Wait for verbal or written notification of admission


Registration:

  • Once you have received notification of acceptance stop by the school to pick up a registration packet
  • Fill out the registration packet and return to the school (860 Plymouth Drive, Durango, CO 81301)
  • Pay fees and 1st month tuition
  • New Students: contact the school to schedule a placement test. ( The testing takes about an hour)
  • New Students: contact the school to get the time and date of the required New Parent Training


Preparation for school:

  • Buy at least one uniform patch for chapel dress shirt (available at the main office)
  • Order books no later than July 1st.  Classes are listed with necessary books needed for each class.
  • High school students click here to check for required summer reading.
  • Click here for required supply list.  Purchase any supplies you don’t already have
  • Ensure that your student has clothing needed to abide by the dress code standards.  Buy needed clothing before school begins in the fall. The dress code is in the student handbook.
