Academics
At Grace Preparatory Academy, professional teachers and parents are combined in a unified program proven to achieve educational success through the college level. The model is called a University Model School®. The elements of this model – low student/teacher ratios, hands on learning, a strong work ethic for students, effective curriculum, and a Christian environment – prove very successful.
Grace Prep has been a certified University Model School ® (UMS) since 2006 and in operation since 2002. UMS academic requirements ensure we meet or exceed the Colorado state educational standards. Our students are tested annually against other private schools at the national level to ensure we are being academically successful. Grace Prep students presently exceed the national average in science and math.
Parents and teachers have a very open line of communication at Grace. Parents may access their student’s grades, assignments, and teachers at any time. Students attend classes on campus with professional teachers on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. On Tuesdays and Thursdays students continue their education at home with their parents as educators. Grace Prep provides valuable training sessions for parents on how to be successful in their role as a teacher on these days. All curriculum is provided by our staff. This format has proven successful in teaching excellent time management and independent learning skills.
Upon graduating from Grace Prep, parents can be assured their students are college-worthy, character-witnesses of Christ for the next generation.
